Psychoanalysis & Psychotherapy
I provide psychoanalysis and psychotherapy to adults in Colorado via "telehealth." I let my office go during the pandemic and have not yet located a suitable replacement. I am looking and will update this page when arrangements have been made. I am looking in the Greenwood Village area of south Denver. In the past I have also seen couples but this does not feel to me workable via the computer.
If you would be interested in working online feel free to contact me.
About Mr. Wolny
I am a psychoanalyst (1996) and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (1989). Certified in Adult Psychoanalysis by The American Psychoanalytic Association, I am a Fellow of the American Board of Psychoanalysis and a Training and Supervising Analyst at the Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis. My practice includes work with adults (from age 16), couples and consultation and supervision of other clinicians. Fifteen years working as a clinician in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and substance abuse settings at the Denver Veterans Affairs Medical Center gave me the opportunity to learn a great deal about addiction, psychosis and trauma. I began the study of psychoanalysis at the Colorado Center for Psychoanalytic Studies (1989) and graduated from the Denver Institute for Psychoanalysis in 1996. Throughout my career I have had an interest in the teaching and learning of clinical psychoanalytic principles and have been active as a teacher at the VA Medical Center for interns in both Social Work and Psychology graduate programs. Since 1998 I have been a faculty member in both the Denver Institute of Psychoanalysis and the Residency program in Psychiatry at the CU School of Medicine where I am Associate Clinical Professor.
